Ukrainian company The Art Nation Group, produced by Eduardo Akhramovych signed an agreement with the Chinese digital content distributor Jetsen Huashi Wangju Cultural Media Co. Ltd. (HUASHI.TV) regarding the rights to broadcast three Ukrainian animation miniseries.
The deal was closed at the beginning of September and signed in Beijing. The package includes three series: " Kozaky. Football "," Kozaky. Around the World "and " Kotyhoroshko and his friends ". " Kozaky. Football " consists of 26 series for 3 minutes each Kozaky. Around the World "consists of 3 series for 13 minutes each, " Kotyhoroshko and his friends " consists of 4 series for 13 minutes each. The distribution rights belong to the Ukrainian company Top Content, which is part of the structure of The Art Nation Group. The use of content by a Chinese company is eligible for VOD-platforms.
Inna Kalinina, who is responsible for the deal, said: "The company HUASHI.TV is very active in the content market. They are not a TV channel, they deal with all types of distribution. At the same time, we do not have to underestimate the quality of the Ukrainian product as our 2D-picture, backgrounds, animation are very high-quality. The Chinese partners immediately and very highly appreciated it, and I would even say "to the honey." And although the contract was approved within six months, it was due to the enormous amount of formalities in China itself. "
Art Nation, produced by Eduardo Akhramovych said: "Now the animated trio of Kozaky, Gray, Tour and Eye are the most famous Ukrainian animation characters. This is data according to JFK's survey, made last year among Ukrainians at the age of 18, 96% of those surveyed identified these characters, 84% said they like them, and 73% – who really like it. This became possible because the cycle of cartoons about the Kozaky already exists for over 50 years, and because cartoons are without dialogues, and the language of animation is understandable by everyone. In addition, we have a tandem of comedy and adventure. As a reference for the world, it is Asterix and Obelix in France, The Rivers in the Czech Republic, and Mumiy Troll in Finland. For us, the Cossacks are national heroes, representing a cumulative image of Ukrainians, and their conversion into the world helps to make relevance and the possibility of spreading through diverse content. "
TV series " Kozaky. Football "were made in 2016 by director Marina Medvid at the animation studio" Drum ". The main artist on the series was Edward Kirich, one of the founders of the original cycle of cartoons "As Kozaky...", released in 1967 at the studio "Kyivnaukfilm". The premiere of the ideological and formal continuation with the subtitle "football" was held on May 30, 2016, on the TV channel "1 + 1".

The mini-series "Kotyhoroshko and his friends" directed by Yaroslava Rudenko-Shvedova in 2014 was the first show of the same year on the Independence Day of Ukraine on the TV channel "1 + 1".

It sells content to cinema networks, TV channels, DVD stores, VOD-platforms and for use on Chinese airlines.
